His Highness Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chief Executive Officer of Al Ihsan Charity Association, extended his warmest thanks to Dubai Islamic Bank, one of the most prominent strategic partners, for their annual support for the charitable programs and projects of the Association, their trust given to Al Ihsan Charity Association to deliver Zakat to the needy and abstinent families sponsored by the Association, as it is the “link” between them and the eligible people.

This had come about through the distribution of “Zakat” to 925 abstinent families with a total amount of 2,706,109 Dirhams “Zakat” out of 10 million Dirhams provided by Dubai Islamic Bank be distributed to the channels of Zakat with various amounts, after studying their financial conditions and number of members thereof, in addition to humanitarian cases entitled to Zakat as per Sharia requirements and examining  the conditions of families with limited income to keep providing the humanitarian assistance and participating in social service..

  In partnership with Jaber Alwadeai, Acting Community Support Services Head at Dubai Islamic Bank, Dr. Haqqi Ismail, the Executive Director of the Association, distributed the financial amounts to the entitled needy and abstinent families living in conditions of scarcity, to provide a decent life for them, through distributing cash to them, which would contribute to provide their needs and necessary requirements.

Dr. Haqqi Ismail said: “”Zakat” contributes to help many families provide their necessary needs, brings joy to the hearts of needy persons and keep providing humanitarian assistance and participation in social services in consistent with the strategic objectives of Al Ihsan Charity Association in line with “Year of Tolerance,” and based upon its responsibility towards those with limited income and providing aid and assistance to more than 6000 abstinent families sponsored by the Association within UAE.”
